On Saturday, the Canaries face Blackburn Rovers in an early Championship kick-off (12:30 GMT), following a victory over Stoke the previous weekend.
Before the encounter at Ewood Park, Canaries head coach Johannes Hoff Thorup addressed to the media, and here are some of the major topics from his press conference:
Kenny McLean, a midfielder, remains out of the squad due to illness. They plan to have him back for the following game against Oxford.
Forward Lewis Dobbin will remain in the squad after being substituted at halftime on Saturday.
Thorup expressed frustration with some of the decision-making following the three points against Stoke. “We were just too loose at times.”
“What we have to get rid of is our inconsistency and the unforced errors,” Thorup told the crowd.
On striker Josh Sargent: “He may be out of the game for extended
periods of time, and we want him to push a little more to be engaged. When he’s involved, he poses a significant threat.”
On Blackburn and their new manager, Valerien Ismael. “I apologize to my analytical section, as we had to watch several of his games. “If we play to our full potential, it should be about us.”
“Everything is an opportunity for us right now. Saturday is another league game, and we must perform to our full potential. No game is more significant than the others; our attitude should remain consistent.”
