Rangers and Aberdeen have agreed to sign Connor Barron this summer, according to the Daily Record. According to the site (19 June), the 21-year-old will have a medical before “registering him on a freedom of contract”.
The two teams have yet to reach a deal, and the Gers may “take their chances” at a compensation tribunal.
The Dons might be entitled to about £500,000 if he left Scotland, and a tribunal will give them a sum in that range. He might become the Rangers’ third permanent signing this summer, following Clinton Nsiala and Jefte.
